Encouraging Pastors' Wives with Understanding, Strength and Support

Become part of a community of amazing, genuine women who uplift and empower one another

Pastors' Wives Stronger Together

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24

Sis, this is the Place for You!

Encouragement and strength for the woman, not just the title of "First Lady" or "Pastor's Wife," in an environment where ladies who are, or were, married to senior pastors receive and give encouragement by being seen as individuals, being loved, and being understood free of judgement, comparison, or traditional man-made expectations. We realize the sacrifices you make and are here to provide encouragement and strength as you take it one day at a time.

Why a ministry of encouragement?

Why the name Lady First?

Pastors' Wives Need Encouragement Too

The power of encouragement is often underrated, but is fuel for the soul and can make the difference in whether a person or ministry makes it or not. This is especially true for pastors' wives, yet many people don't grasp that fact, and assume that wives of pastors have no needs.

Wives can be their husbands' greatest assets, but In order to support and/or give confidence or hope to the pastor, their wives must also receive it.

At Lady First, we stress the importance of not only being a "First Lady," or pastor's wife, but first, a lady. A lady after God's heart. A lady who serves God, herself, family, and others. A lady who loves, takes care of herself, has healthy boundaries, and is not afraid to be different from others, while being the woman God wants her to be.

This is where it really happens! Get together with women to laugh, pray, and participate in real conversations or topics that wives of pastors can relate to while growing together in faith and creating bonds with women who "get it." Refresh your spirit and strengthen your soul in a relaxing environment that will welcome you right where you are.

Prayer is the ultimate form of encouragement. Join us on Zoom as we lift up the delicate needs of pastors' wives. We are also here to pray with women one on one.

Wives of Pastors, Stronger Together!

What ladies are saying...

I have been a part of Lady First for about a year and a half and have been so blessed and encouraged and uplifted by this undeniably amazing group of women. I find myself more encouraged everyday that I log on. The ladies in this group truly love and obey God. I never felt more encouraged or uplifted before I found this group. I am so much stronger since finding my way to this group. There are days that this awesome group of ladies is the only reason I keep going. We truly are stronger together! Mariah Martin

God loves using broken pieces to put together a "unique" masterpiece for His use. Traci Mason and this ministry are unique, and it's from those sharp-edged broken pieces that she’s able to pierce the hearts of women who've put up walls, shut down, or are drowning in sorrow and defeat. I love Traci’s heart and the hearts of the sisters who are part of the Lady First ministry. Robyn Jones

Just when I needed friends, love, support, encouragement, and fun, God connected me with these wonderful women. It’s a huge blessing to get to know those that understood my role. Traci Mason has been a support and wonderful mentor, leading us closer to the Lord. The Zoom meetings are light-hearted, enjoyable, and full of spiritual fellowship, and so enriching during a time of difficulty. Sometimes as a pastor’s wife, it's great to get your mind off of your own little (or big) situation! I’ve loved praying with these women and am so thankful they prayed for me! I wish all pastors' wives had this kind of invaluable support. Stephanie Hunter

I was desperately looking for a community of other pastors’ wives who understood my loneliness, would be real, share their experience and wisdom, celebrate my joys, and understand my sorrows. After months of searching, I found Lady First, and it has been a Godsend in my life and ministry ever since. It was the community I'd longed for. The women are real, feelings are raw, and masks are not worn. It is a safe community of honest, non-judgmental, wise women who understand the struggles of being a pastor's wife. I can show up and minister to other women, or show up and be encouraged. This is a rare group of Godly women who love and serve the LORD, and love and pray for each other. Chris Baker
